Crabby

Thought I'd post up a few pages for "Crablegs," the 5 page-er I'm doing for the Philadelphia Cartoonist Society. I finally finished up all the toning and lettering last night.

Vampire Boarding School

Thought I'd post up some of the sketches I did for "The La Morte' Sisters, the comic I'm working on with some writer types from DC's Zuda line.

Harlots and Crabs

I've been having a pretty productive week. The PCS 5 pager is coming along. Erotica book illustrations are nearly done and I'm already into the art for a comic proposal to Vertigo (written by a couple of fine gents that have done work on the Zuda website). So, I'm in pretty good spirits all in all.

I like how this revised version came out, more true to my halftone love. Also, I realize how much I need a extra large scanner, as I really enjoyed working oversized for this, and I like the results.

That kid caught it good in this one! I'm submitting this without the text, because I don't want to spoil the story, and I probably won't post any pages after page 3. So, really, this is just to wet your whistle until the book comes out.

Until next time, kiddies...

Flashy

Did up a little flash type stuffs for the folks at Brands Imaging. See that nifty portfolio page and client case study? Yeah, I did that ;P Doing the part time work for these folks is certainly keeping my flash and design skillz well oiled. So, with that in mind, I can't say that I loath the job too much (even if it does take me away from my precious, precious comixes).

The kittens have been taking it in stride, and have adjusted well to the fact that I am not in the house as much anymore. And The Boyfriend has moved into the neighborhood, so hanging out has been occurring with more frequency (which is nice, considering that we are both very busy).

And that's it. A little glimpse into my life at-the-moment. I've been looking for a nice, cheap digital camera lately, so maybe more photography shall grace this thing in the future. The ol' Nikon is getting a little cumbersome to work with, especially for reference, which I use very loosely anyway.

Till next time kiddies...

Of Crabbish Things

So I finally dove head first into my 5 page-er for the Philly Cartoonist Society 3rd Anthology. Thought I'd post it up since I'm particularly pleased with how it came out. Meanwhile, I have quite a bit of work to do both for some interior book work, Teddy Scares, and some comic proposals that need to get done by February. So, busy...but I'm still working on keeping this thang updated.
